"Vegetation" circa 1920's French Art Deco woven silk furnishing fabric with densely depicted bright blue leaves and golden berries. This design is similar to designs created for Bianchini-Ferier, of Lyon, France, where Raoul Dufy worked from 1912 to 1930.
Inspired by the Wiener Werkstatte in Vienna and Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, French fabric designers of this period like Dufy, Paul Poiret, and Madeleine Vionnet created bright, bold, and opulent textile designs for furnishing fabric and couture. Mounted.
